Worn Out

I feel like I'm constantly having to convince myself to spend time with certain people. These people are nice and they care about me, but I just don't have the energy to deal with them.
So let me ask a question:
Do you have any friends that you keep in touch with out of obligation rather than genuine interest?
AND/ OR
Do you ever feel like life is too short to spend time with people who don't truly mean something to you?

First question--everyone has those people in their life.
Second question--yes.

People who are "people persons" are able to compromise. If you're not one it's easier to be anti social.

I'm not sure what I am anymore. I used to be a people person but I was also a complete push-over and I reached the end of my rope on that. Now I'm finally able to put my needs before others. Does that make me anti-social? ;)

No, experienced with idiots.

Question #1: I did, but I weeded them out by ignoring them once and for all. Chicken? Yup.

#2:
If they're interesting and/or funny, maybe not.
If they're sucking my soul, than yes.

I'm totally chicken. I hate being the bad guy. I'm that person - you know, the one who tries to make everyone happy. But I'm finally realizing that I'm making myself miserable and I'm the only one to blame.
