"Arctic ice cap melting 30 years ahead of forecast"
I believe that the damage we're doing to the environment will come back to affect us/our grandchildren eventually but come on! 30 years in the grand scheme of the Earth's history isn't making much of a difference.

I agree. I've just finished Historical Geology and the world is a pretty old place, 30 years isn't even a blink of an eye in geologic history.
Historical Geology sounds interesting. I'm curious what your beliefs are regarding global warming?
